Personal Capital, one of the nation’s
leading digital wealth mangement
companies, announced on Oct. 1 that it
would open a new 100-person office in
Denver. The company chose Colorado
because it has the highest concentration
of CFPs in the nation, offers a strategic
location between both coasts, and is a
top city nationally for business.
Fidelity Investments, one of the world’s
largest providers of financial services,
opened a new regional site in
Greenwood Village on Sept. 19. Fidelity
is leasing 100,000 square feet for the
new customer contact center, where it
already employs 200 people and plans
to expand to as many as 500 workers.
Sunetric Inc., a solar-power engineering
and installation company, announced
plans in September to relocate its
headquarters from Hawaii to Denver.
Sunetric executives say the company
chose Denver because of its central
location and deep pool of talented solar-power professionals.
XetaWave, a wireless technology
provider, received a $7 million venture
capital investment in September and
announced plans to relocate and expand
its facilities to Broomfield.
JobAppPlus, a leading provider of SaaS-based Recruiting and Talent Management
Systems for hourly and decentralized
workers in the service industry,
announced on Aug. 29 that it would
move its corporate headquarters to
Denver. The headquarters will house over
100 employees, with additional offices
throughout the U.S.
Kaiser Permanente opened a new
Information Technology Center in
Greenwood Village on Aug. 22. Nearly
350 staff members are working at the
new facility. Kaiser is recruiting to fill 95
new positions at the Center in the
remainder of 2013, with plans to
eventually employ 700 staff.
Selling Simplified, a leading provider of
demand generation solutions, opened its
new Global Headquarters in Greenwood
Village on Aug. 20 (relocating from New
Jersey). The company retrofitted 14,000
square feet of space to house its new
Delivery and Training Center.
Datu Health Inc., a high-tech, healthcare
startup that provides a cloud platform to
help large health systems efficiently
manage medical records, opened a new
25-person headquarters office in Boulder
24-7 Intouch, a leading contact center
outsourcing company, selected Aurora in
early August as the location for a new
contact center. The company leased
50,000 square feet of office space
where it will employ 470 FTE employees,
with plans to add more positions in the
Resource Land Holdings, a firm that
manages more than $500 million funds
and land investments, announced in early
August plans to relocate from Colorado
Springs to Denver.
EA Engineering, Science, and Technology,
Inc. (EA) opened a new office in
Greenwood Village. The leading provider
of interdisciplinary environmental services
located in Metro Denver to serve its existing
clients as well as to expand with new
private-sector clients and key federal, state,
and municipal agencies throughout the
Rocky Mountain region.
Marley Coffee, an artisan roasted gourmet
coffee, announced on July 25 that it is
consolidating the sales, design, and
marketing teams and moving them to
Denver, CO. Additionally, the company is in
the process of adding up to 12 new
employees in sales, marketing, design,
business development, and HR immediately.
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in
Colorado is adding nearly 300 jobs at its
Denver office as part of a comprehensive
effort to support its growing business.
Anthem currently employs nearly 1,700
associates across Colorado. The new
positions will include entry level and
managerial positions in the areas of
customer service, training and other
Ardent Mills, which will operate as a
joint venture of ConAgra Foods, Cargill
and CHS, announced in July that it will
make Colorado its headquarters. The
