Located in the foothills of the Rocky
Mountains, Boulder Valley School District
(BVSD) stretches from the peaks of the
Continental Divide to the suburbs of
Denver. The district serves Boulder, Gold
Hill, Jamestown, Lafayette, Louisville,
Nederland, Superior, Ward, and parts of
Broomfield and Erie, covering more than
500 square miles and serving about 30,000
students in 56 schools. Its academic excellence puts the district among the top three
of Colorado’s large Front Range school
districts, as measured by state and national

Brighton School District 27J

The Brighton School District 27J serves
nearly 17,000 students from the cities of
Brighton, Commerce City and Thornton as
well as portions of unincorporated portions
of Adams, Broomfield and Weld counties.
The district’s 24 schools include 15 elementary, four middle, and five high schools. The
district provides a full and challenging range of
educational programs and services authorized
by Colorado State Statute including kindergarten through grade twelve education in
elementary, middle, and high schools; Special
Education; Vocational Education; an Online
Education program; English as a Second
Language education; Gifted and Talented;
and numerous other educational and support
programs. In addition, the district offers
preschool programs through the Colorado
Preschool Program and provides educational
programming for the residents of the Adams
County Youth Services Center (AYSC).
Byers School District 32J

This small, rural system is located approximately 50 miles east of Denver along the
I- 70 Corridor. The district is comprised of
one elementary school, a junior high school,
and a high school—all of which are located
on one campus. The district has a total staff
of 72 employees, which includes 37 regular
classroom teachers, two principals, one
guidance counselor, one financial officer,
and other supporting personnel. More than
500 students attend school in this district.

The Cherry Creek School District is located in the southeast Denver, Colorado

Creek Schools” in advertisements because of the increased property values
attributed to the outstanding reputation of the schools and district.
TEACHERS More than 75% of Cherry Creek faculty members have advanced
degrees and teachers have an average of 10 years’ experience. The Cherry
Creek School District has the third most National Board Certified Teachers in Colorado and one of the lowest teacher turnover rates in the Denver Metro Area.
