Health Services is the second oldest and
largest community health center program
in the United States. CHS has a network
of community health centers and school-based health centers located throughout
Denver, providing convenient options
available for everyone. Each medical
center provides primary care services for
men, women, and children of all ages, as
well as pharmacy services. CHS also has
locations that provide specialty care
for obstetrics and gynecology, internal
medicine, dermatology, and family
planning. One out of every four Denver
residents uses CHS.

Craig Hospital is a world-renowned
rehabilitation hospital that exclusively
specializes in the neuro-rehabilitation and
research of patients with spinal cord injury
(SCI) and traumatic brain injury (TBI). Craig
is a not-for-profit, freestanding, national
center of excellence that has treated more
than 30,000 patients with SCI and TBI
since 1956. U.S. and World Report have
ranked Craig in the Top Ten Rehabilitation
Hospitals in the nation for 25 consecutive
years since the rankings began in 1990.
Craig’s goal is to maximize recovery,
regain ability and nurture independence in
all patients. The hospital is designated by
the National Institute on Disability
Rehabilitation and Research (NIDRR) as a
model system center for both spinal cord
injury and traumatic brain injury. Work on a
four-year, $90 million expansion project
began in 2013.

One of the oldest and largest non-profit
providers of behavioral healthcare in the
country, Devereux is considered a premier
facility. The center specializes in treatment
of psychiatric, emotional and behavioral
problems in children and adolescents.
Devereux primarily treats psychiatric
emergencies in a locked unit atmosphere.
Another option is partial hospitalization or
residential programs for long-term
treatment. Part of a national network,
Devereux partners with families, schools
and communities to help some of our
nation’s most vulnerable individuals.

East West Health Centers combines
Western and Eastern approaches to
medicine. Services offered by the facility
include chiropractic medicine, massage,
acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutrition
counseling, stress management, and
women’s health care. The practice
focuses on patient health and well being,
and long-term symptom relief.
The Eating Disorder Center of Denver

The Eating Disorder Center of Denver is
the only facility of its kind in Colorado to
use partial hospitalization while providing
treatment. It uses an evidence-based
model to empower individuals to
overcome eating disorders. The center’s
team of multi-disciplinary treatment
professionals help women and men
patients overcome the full array of eating
disorders, including: anorexia, bulimia,
binge eating, and other eating disorders.
Treatment is provided on an outpatient
basis, seven days a week, 11 hours a
day. Another treatment option is the
center’s evening intensive outpatient
program, which happens three days a
week, four hours a day. Outpatient
services/aftercare is also available for
patients who do not require more

palliative care, Hospice of Metro Denver
has served more than 60,000 patients
and their families in its 35-year history.
HMD is the largest hospice in the Rocky
Mountain region, and serves one out of
every five hospice patients in Colorado,
helping them regain a sense of control
